To coincide with the exhibition Ming: The Golden Empire, CaixaForum's Summer Nights programme has prepared China Night, where you'll find various activities that include parades (7pm and 8.30pm) featuring a great dragon – a symbol of good fortune – lions and drums filling up the CaixaForum and surrounding streets with colour, magic and music. There will also be a Chinese food cooking show (9pm) with tasting; a tea ceremony workshop (7.30pm); a Chinese calligraphy workshop (7.30pm); and a live performance by the Silk String Quartet (10pm), one of the best groups in Europe of Chinese classical and contemporary music.
