May 18 is International Museum Day all over Europe, which means that once again we're celebrating Museum Night here in Barcelona. On May 18, from 7pm to 1am you'll find plenty of spaces open for free, offering more than 100 temporary exhibitions and permanent collections for you to enjoy. Among the including total of 80 venues in and around Barcelona participating in this 15th edition are the Picasso Museum, the Fundació Antoni Tàpies, the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, the MACBA, the CCCB, CosmoCaixa, and the Fabra i Coats contemporary art centre.
This is a great chance to enjoy these art spaces and their collections as well as take advantage of activities that are also on, such as dramatized tours, guided tours, workshops and things to do for families, concerts, dance performances, magic acts, recitals, multimedia projects and more. You'll also find food trucks and tastings in some of the participating centres to really celebrate the big event.
