To coincide with the exhibition 'Lucha libre. Family portraits. Lourdes Grobet photographs' (which you can visit for free thoughout the day), the CCCB is putting on an intensive multidisciplinary Mexican Day in various spaces in the city centre. The programme includes live performances by Armando Vega-Gil, founder, bassist and composer for one of the most influential contemporary Mexican rock bands, Botellita de Jerez; NAFF, a multi-channel rock project that mixes electro-acoustic music, contemporary classical music and progressive rock; physical comedy and theatre from the Sonámbulos collective; visual explorer and fine artist Rafael 'Aper' Ontiveros; an ephemeral installation in honour of the 43 students who disappeared in Mexico more than a year ago; the photography project 'Penélopes Mexicanas' by Héctor Mediavilla; and the multimedia documentary by Marta Franco 'Las luchadoras', amongh many other activities.
