Mercè 2013: 10th anniversary falcon groups parade

The Barcelona falcon groups celebrate their 10th anniversary with parades featuring all the groups in Catalonia. But don't expect to see any birds flying. The falcons are similar to he more familar 'castellers' who make human towers, but the performances are more acrobatic and their towers involve fewer participants but more variety of formations and styles between the groups. The parade starts in Plaça Nova and ends in Plaça Catalunya.
