L'art de mirar (The art of looking)

The Golferichs civic centre is putting on a cycle of conferences dedicated to aesthetics and art, to coincide with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of F. Catalán-Roca, a photography space and the civic centre's special project. The idea of aesthetics, the arts (as opposed to The Arts), looking at art, and the role of photography today are the four areas addressed and debated. The series consists of a session on aesthetic notes (Jan 26), forms and fuctions of art from yesterday and today (Feb 9), breaking a gaze (Feb 16), and photography as an artistic language (Feb 23).
