La Mercè 2017: Parade and historic human tower day

On Saturday 23, the day before the Mercè feast day, the Barcelona Castellers (human tower builders) get together in front of the Palau de la Virreina and are the stars of a parade that starts there and heads toward Plaça Sant Jaume, where they'll build their 'castells' (human towers) along with invited casteller groups, the Minyons de Terrassa and the Castellers de Vilafranca.
