It's not really a Mediterranean festival if there's not some sort of fireworks display. And for La Mercè, in addition to the dancing devils and the correfoc, there's also got to be the 'piromusical'. It's the farewell show of the festival, but since no one likes sad good-byes, here's one for you that's filled with light and music. The piromusical is one of the festival's most beloved traditions for locals, and probably the best-attended. This year, as Paris is the celebration's guest city, you can bet you'll hear a chanson française or two, but you'll also get to pay tribute to two great musicians we lost this year: David Bowie and Prince.
