Jazz & Swing with the Barcelona Jazz Orquestra

One Sunday a month Sala Apolo hosts the Barcelona Jazz Orchestra and its popular and fun evenings of Jazz & Swing. The Barcelona Jazz Orquesta – Big Band Internacional de Barcelona – features some of the best jazz musicians in Catalonia, and is considered one of the best big bands in Europe, performing regularly at prestigious festivals along with celebrated artists such as Benny Golson, Frank Wess, Ann Hampton Callaway and Tony Hadley. Get to Apolo for Jazz & Swing and get ready to make use of those dancing shoes and hear jazz from standards like Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Dizzy Gillespie, as well as pop music from the likes of Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.
