Jazz nights on the rooftop at La Pedrera 2018: Liceu Big Band

The most magical summer nights in Barcelona are back with this unique way to enjoy La Pedrera by night, as you take in live jazz music on the rooftop as well as some of the most sensational views of Barcelona. Opening the cycle is the Liceu Big Band, which boasts an extensive artistic career featuring students of the Liceu's Superior Studies of Jazz and Modern Music who get professional experience. Their training includes performing in plenty of concerts, and in recent years that's mean they've become an essential part of the Barcelona jazz scene. Programmes have included big numbers from throughout the history of music composed for big bands, with some truly stellar arrangements.
