International Peace Day demonstration

The district of Horta-Guinardó is organising a peace demonstration on September 21 as part of the International Day of Peace. The event, which will start at 10am in Jardins d'Hiroshima, gives locals and visitors alike the opportunity to commemorate and strengthen the ideal of international peace by participating in activities and workshops. Escola del Mar and IES Joan Brossa host workshops at 10.20am, and there's a symbolic planting of trees at noon, and a guided meditation exercise with Samye Dzong at 12.45pm.
