To coincide with the screening of 'Everybody's Cage' and with the collaboration of the film's director, Sandra Trostel, the In-Edit festival has organised a performance of 'Variations IV', a piece that John Cage debuted in 1963 for a number choreographed by Merce Cunningham. Following the instructions of the sound map created by Cage, which features the location of each participant, up to 12 people can perform their own interpretation of the piece, just like they did in New York for the documentary.
