What does it mean to be human nowadays? The exhibition '+Humans' focuses on the limits of the human body, the limits of the species, the limits of what's socially and ethically acceptable. Should we better ourselves, or should we try to change our descendents? Are we getting closer to an ideal human-machine hybridization, or are we losing our power because of ever-increasing dependence on technological extensions of the body? Is the longevity of human lives something to aspire to or a terrible threat to the planet? This exhibition explores the possible paths of the future of our species taking into account emerging technologies and our cultural and ethical context.
