The Holi Festival of Colours is back in Barcelona. This is a free adaptation of one of the most important festivals on the Hindu calendar, which itself is characterised by its festive atmosphere charged with colours and puts aside differences in class, caste and origin (everyone is the same when painted in colours) and is a happy celebration for all. With water pistols and balloons, buckets and colour dust, revellers of all ages join in a 'war of colours' in the open aire. This year the festival is in a new location in Plaça de l'Univers at the Fira de Motjuïc, which becomes the most colourful place in town for a few hours today.
