Fantasy, love and sex, violence and war, drama and spectacular production might be the ingredients that have made 'Game of Thrones' the most popular television series in the world over the last few years. And if the series boasts all these elements, an exhibition about it has got to live up to the standard. Enter 'Game of Thrones: The touring exhibition', the biggest show in the world about the series, making its global premiere in Barcelona at the Maritime Museum. The interactive experience covers more than 1,000 square metres, is completely inspired by the TV show, and features fascinating objects, giant images, and pieces from wardrobe, decorations and props.
You'll find never-before-seen immersive environments, several themed areas based on different locations featured in the series, and settings created for the occasion like the winterscapes of the North and the majestic surroundings of Kings Landing; the conquered city of Meereen with its barracks of Unsullied warriors and the faithful of the Targaryen household; emblematic scenes of the mysterious House of Black and White; Castle Black, home of the Night's Watch. and the frozen lands beyond the Wall; and the iconic central piece of the room with the iron throne.
