Festival de Jazz de Sant Andreu

The Sant Andreu Jazz Band Association is a not-for-profit organisation that was born out of the educational project of the band of the same name: a jazz orquestra that more than 50 musicians have taken part in, between the ages of six and 20 years old, led by musician Joan Chamorro. The history of the educational part of the band is that of a success cooked over a slow flame, after ten years of work, in no hurry and with no huge ambitions, that is now about to take another step beyond with the 2nd Sant Andreu Jazz Festival and the Jazzing Club. From September 8 to 18 there are loads of concerts programmed, many of them are free, and in various venues. You can check out the complete programme here.
