Festival Àsia 2014: Black Coffee by Mayookh Bhaumik

The Asia Festival is where Indian group Black Coffee makes their European debut. Multifaceted percussionist Mayookh Bhowmick and company will fill the Cathedral square with a mix of sounds that range from the most traditional to electronica to hip hop. Black Coffee are among the leaders of the new generation of Indian musicians, and they'll be joined onstage by the dance grouop Barcelona Kathak Project, headed up by reputed Pakistani dancer Fasih ur Rehman.
