The Neighbours Association of Travessia de Sant Antoni in Gràcia once again puts on the Travessierus Music Fest (Aug 15 to 20) during the Gràcia Festival so you can swing by and enjoy a varied programme of good music. Things get going on Thursday the 15th with Pianoke d'Evripidis, which translates to you as a session of karaoke with live piano, as well as a late-night concert of music with Irish roots from the Shamrock Vagabonds (12.45am).
The night of Friday the 16th stars DJ sessions from Da Fak and Cosita Seria Sistema de Sonido, where you'll hear hip hop, R&B, reggaeton and dancehall. On Saturday the 17th it's daytime tunes with warm sounds from Intana (noon); Afro-Caribbean music from Terroristas del Son (11pm), who mix salsa, Cuban son, merengue and rumba; and Miqui Puig (1am) at the decks to bring the night to an end.
Sunday the 18th gets underway with an intimate acoustic folk session from singer-songwriter Halldor Mar (noon) and ends with an evening full of colour to boost awareness and equal rights for the LGBTI community with a special Queer Fest with Karmele & Lydia (DJs and creators of the popular monthly parties SomosLas and Churros con Chocolate), and the duo Oz, Esto No Es Kansas.
Monday the 19th brings to the stage La Tresca i la Verdesca, an award-winning group geared toward kids and families, full of dancing, fun and smiles. And the last day, on Tuesday the 20th, closes out with Festucs (noon), with reggae, ska, rumba and rock; and Orquestrina Trama (11pm) from the Pyrenees to close out the festival.
