Poble Espanyol is hosting a scary weekend where you can celebrate Halloween with the whole family. You'll find a load of things to do all day and at the same time discover the origins of the October 31st holiday. For example, you can do the spooky obstacle course based on traditional stories like 'La Castañera' or the origin of the Halloween jack-o'-lantern; enter a costume contest as part of a group or individually; play in a space with giant wooden toys; or get creative in the drawing corner where kids can let their imagination run wild.
There's also a five-hour marathon of scary stories (check to find out which languages) including tales that come from oral tradition and other inspired by books like 'Where the Wild Things Are' by Maurice Sendak. Plus, the Andorra Kids Film Festival screens movies for kids ages 2 to 12.
