Evenings at the Mercat de la Terra

The freshest dates from the Mercat de la Terra (Earth Market) from Slow Food Barcelona are on every Tuesday during the month of July from 5.30pm to 10pm at the Tres Xemeneies (Three Chimneys) in Poble-sec. Throughout the month you'll find a truly varied market, featuring swing classes, sardine feasts, live music, games for kids... And, get your shopping baskets ready because with the heat come the best fruits and veg: aubergine, peppers, tomatoes, peaches, plums, pears... As usual, the market brings together some 15 producers chosen by Slow Food who offer a great variety of local and seasonal products. You'll find local and fresh grains, cheeses, cold cuts, bread, fruit and veg.
