Time Out says

Eurocon is an annual European science-fiction convention that has been held since 1972 in various cities on the continent with a focus on the academic and study of the genre. This year it's on from November 4 to 6 as BCon, and also includes Hispacon (Spanish convention) and Catcon (Catalan convention).

Though the convention is now sold out, the general public can participate in plenty of activities going on at the same time, such as in the Gigamesh and Chronos (Roger de Flor, 237) bookshops as well as at the market set up at the CCCB (the main venue for Eurocon 2016) and some conferences. As part of the Kosmopolis programme, the CCCB is hosting three talks that are also open to the public: 'The narrative of the pixel: meeting with Rhianna Pratchett', presented by Gina Tost; 'Brandon Sanderson, master of Cosmere', presented by Ricard Ruiz Garzón; and 'In the skin of Albert Sánchez Piñol', presented by Alícia Gili.
