Drap-Art 2016

From December 16 to 31 Drap-Art is back in Barcelona. This International Artistic Recycling Festival of Catalonia celebrates its 14th edition in its current format, and 20 years of organising festivals. The usual format is back as well, with eight ways that show off creative recycling: the CCCB and surroundings host the collective exhibition of works of art and design objects made with recycled materials; performances in the public space by artists such as Germany's Stephanie Senge, with her Demonstration-Procession of consumption with soul (Dec. 23 in Arts Santa Mónica); a participative workshop also in Santa Mónica with Senge (Dec. 20-22) to reflect on consumption; shows, audiovisual performances and film screenings about the environment; and a weekend of live creating with the Barcelona Marathon of Creation and Recycling (Dec. 16-18), as a reminder of the first festival. Finally, from December 23 to 30 in Plaça Reial you'll find the Artistic Recycling and Sustainable Consumption Market.
