La Diada de la Rumba, a whole day dedicated to Catalan rumba, celebrates its 10th anniversary with a big party. In 2015 Catalan rumba itself was declared a Cultural Heritage of Catalonia and the candidacy began for it to be declared a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Get in on the fun at Sala Apolo, where, on Sunday morning, from 11am to noon, you'll find workshops on guitar, 'palmas' and dancing; rumba-related activities for kids, as well as exhibitions about the history of rumba and a rumba revelry with Yumitus & Ramon del Pichón. Then, from 5pm to 10pm, big names take to the stage, including Pantanito, Peret Reyes, Bananna Beach, Maria Cambray and Tirando Sillas, among others.
