Christmas 2016: The Orfeó Català concert of Christmas carols

Started in 2010, this concert has become a local tradition, with the Orfeó Català and the singers from the Orfeó Català Youth Choir as well as the Orfeó Català Girls' Choir performing Christmas carols in Plaça del Rei. The vocalists, directed by subdirector Pablo Larraz, will sing traditional Catalan carols such as 'Fum, Fum, Fum', 'El Noi de la Mare' and 'El desembre congelat', with 'El canto de la Senyera', the Orfeò's anthem, as the big finish, with music by Lluís Millet and a poem by Joan Maragall.
