If you haven't tried 'calçots' yet, here's your chance. This onion-like local delicacy is in season, and Poble Espanyol is hosting its third Calçotada (calçot feast), where you can participate in this very Catalan tradition of dining on grilled calçots and meats ('botifarra' sausage is a biggie), plus other traditional side dishes, including the all-important 'romesco' sauce for dipping. You'll also get Catalan rumba music and dance, a calçot-eating contest, wine tasting, crafts workshops and more. You can even buy local products at the food stands set up in the Plaza Mayor.
