The gastro festival Born Street Food is back, turning the square Pla de Palau into a space where various chefs bring their cuisine to the people with a culinary offering open to the public, with cooking demonstrations, dishes prepared on the spot, and live music.
From September 14 to 16 in a special La Mercè edition you can enjoy all that's on the go from the collective Barcelona Born Gourmet, which brings together chefs, restaurateurs and businesses from the Born neighbourhood including Vila Viniteca, Sagardi Cuiners Bascos, Llamber Taberna Gastronómica, Restaurant Estimar, Tapeo Born, Orio Gastronomia Basca, La Vinya del Senyor, Oaxaca Cuina Mexicana, Golfo de Bizkaia, Chigre 1769, Bodega La Puntual, Euskal Etxea Taberna, Pork... Boig per Tu, 1881 Per Sagardi, Bodega Vidrios y Cristales, Sagàs Pagesos, Cuienrs & Co, Bar Ángel, Euskalzaleak, and the Barcelona Confraria de Pescadors (Fisherman's Association) on hand to cook freshly caught fish.
