On September 29, the gardens in the Raval called Jardins de Sant Pau del Camp play host to the second edition of the BCN Honey Fest, a festival dedicated to the fascinating world of bees. From 11am to 8pm, you'll find a variety of workshops, demonstrations and activities that help you learn about bees and honey. You'll can also attend Bee Talks, 15-minute presentations in the style of TED Talks, as well as scientific and cultural talks about themes related to the world of bees. The main attraction of the festival is the market, where local farmers and beekeepers sell their products and share their ideas about the protection of the bee population, which has seen a significant decline in recent years. Visit stalls with honey and pollen, propolis tinctures, beeswax candles, cosmetics made from honey and wax, and those selling herbs, fruits and vegetables as well.
