Hotel Rooftop Terrace Week has become one of the most anticipated events on the Barcelona calendar. It's now in its eighth year, and boasts 83 participating hotels that open their rooftop terraces to the public and offer more than 270 activities, and they're all free. When you stop by the hotels from June 1 to 10 you'll find workshops, tastings, concerts, classes, DJ sets, theme parties, sports, kids' activities, cooking demonstrations, video projections – and don't forget the synchronised swimming show at Ohla Barcelona, which has already become a tradition, brought to you by the championship team of España Júnior CN Kallipolis.
Barcelona Hotel Rooftop Terrace Week has a charitable side as well. Share your photos of any of the activities on our social media platforms with the hashtag #SetmanaTerrasses18. If they get more than 1,000 tagged photos, the organisation will donate €1,000 to Business With Social Value.
Here's a sampling of some of our favourite events throughout the week (bonus: it's actually ten days). See the full list of participating hotels and events (in Catalan).
