Abstract painting workshop

If you've ever wanted to try abstract acrylic painting, now's your chance. Spend an afternoon in the Arte Bar studio at this workshop, taught by artist and Arte Bar owner, Bruce Anderson, as you explore the major themes in abstract painting. Learn everything about colour, using texture, layers, and making an effective composition. By the end of the workshop, you'll have an understanding of abstract art, and you'll have practised colour mixing and layering, learned various paint applications and created a beautiful piece of artwork on canvas to take home. You'll have the opportunity to play and experiment and be inspired by your own creative potential. No previous art skills are required, and the workshop is open to all levels.
