La Caldera was born out of a project in 1995 that looked a a lack of spaces for creativity, especially for dance.
And that's how Montse Colomé, Inés Boza, Alexis Eupierre, Lipi Hernández, Carles Mallol, Toni Mira, Maria Rovira, Álvaro de la Peña, Sol Picó and Carles Salas got together to trasform an old neighbourhood belt factory into a platform for independent creativity.
