Companyia La Reial, a theatre company established in 2006, presents one of the most unusual shows on the Grec programme this year, promising audiences an intimate, personal theatrical experience. The music on this carrousel for theatre-lovers is not provided by a machine, though, but by Lisboa Zentral Cafè, an acclaimed ensemble that can as easily play a polka as a waltz or the soundtrack from a film by Fellini. This band will provide live entertainment to accompany the circular movement of a series of five-seater vehicles. Queue up for the ride, it’s well worth the wait: once inside, you can enjoy a ten-minute scene performed by one or two actors and written by some of the most outstanding novelists and short story writers on the Catalan scene today: from Josep Maria Fonalleras, Imma Monsó and Marta Rojals to Màrius Serra and Francesc Serés.
