The Color Run

Born in the USA in 2012, The Color Run, now celebrated in some 30 countries and more than 200 cities around the world, is an event that mixes colour, fun, sport and music. This race through the city streets aims to be a fun and colourful date in the year's sporting calendar. What matters least is the time it takes you to complete the 5K 'race' – the goal is to have a great time and enjoy the music and rain of colours.

Anyone can run solo or form a team with a minimum of four members, which is a great option for families or groups of friends. There's no time limit to complete the circuit, but when you do reach the finish line, you'll be greeted by a shower of colours and a four-hour concert with dance music. The only requirement is starting off wearing white and finishing the race completely stained in glorious living colour.

Registration for adults is €26 for individuals and €19 per person for teams, the 'junior' (between ages 9 and 14 on the day of the race) entry fee is €14, and children up to 8 years old can participate for free.
