Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya de MotoGP

This motorbike racing event, held in Montmeló, just outside Barcelona, as part of the Grand Prix, sees the Catalan circuit become, once again, the stage for a ferocious showdown between last year’s winner, Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo, and a field of competitors that includes his stable mates Valentino Rossi and Cal Crutchlow and riders from other manufacturers’ teams like Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, both from the Repsol Honda Team.
