The word 'Muji' is an abbreviation of 'Mujirushi Ryōhin', which is Japanese for 'No Brand, Quality Goods', according to the company. Barcelona is now getting more Muji than ever on November 30 and December 1, when the new flagship store is inaugurated in the same building as La Unión and Fénix on Passeig de Gràcia (at the corner of Diputació). The 1,200m2 space is divided into three floors, making this the biggest Muji shop in all of Europe. What that means for you is that, in addition to the products and services you're already familiar with from Muji, you'll also find loads of new gadgets and goods to surprise you and make your life easier: decorations for your home or office, furniture, beauty products, electronics, travel accessories, clothes for the whole family, books, food items and so much more. Plus, they offer exclusive personalised services, like interior design advice in the furniture area. And you can even have a coffee while you participate in regular workshops they're offering.
The inauguration will of course be full of even more surprises, and if you're among the first in, you can participate in a promotion that comes with a free gift. Best of luck to you, as among these gifts there's a biggie in the form of a pair of tickets to Tokyo.
