Equipped with a restored wooden stove from 1926, this bakery does extraordinary bread. The secret is an oven in which the flames enter through a channel, so the flames are in direct contact with the bread, not just heating it, giving the finished product a unique smoky flavour. They make all types of bread, and 90% of the grains are organic. They also make cakes and pastries with English and Australian influences, like the Lamington, a pound cake coated in chocolate and coconut.
