Back in the ’70s, this was the first restaurant to open in the town of Canyelles, but this prestigious history isn’t Parrilla’s only special feature. The original founders have now retired, and the current owners who took over in 2008 have introduced an Argentinian touch to the place, while still serving traditional Catalan dishes, of which the grilled meats are the undoubted star, although fish and seafood are also available. If you need any more reasons to eat there, there’s a range of set menus and great breakfasts on offer, which are excellent for getting your day going with a bang.
