Mala Vida

La Donzella Beach Club is a beach 'chiringuito' (food and drinks bar) in the centre of Badalona (with metro access). What's charming about it is that, depending on who you talk to, the baths that were constructed in 1928 are practically the only example of pre-Franco building work that still exists on the shoreline. The collective Mala Vida is in charge of daytime activities: Tuesday through Thursday, they offer breakfast and a good set lunch menu. Friday, Saturday and Sunday they put on daytime parties, from noon to dusk, that culminate in gorgeous paellas and 'fideuá' noodle dishes followed by a concert, in a dining area and a terrace with that something very special.
