If you're a fan of a classic Sunday roast chicken, the rotisserie Chez Cocó is the place for you. Ornate and with a stately air about it that's like eating aboard the Orient Express with loads more space, this restaurant excels in the art of roasting any kind of fowl, including large and small game. This means that the kitchen might contain chicken as well as snipe – the height of game cooking, prepared as if for royalty – and other poultry delights. Musts on the menu are the extraordinary poularde from Casals de Sagàs made in a Dutch oven (this is a species from El Penedès that the Rovira brothers have sterilised, with incomparable results) and the 'pollastre de Bresse', considered the best chicken in the world, with firm flesh, full of flavour and personality. In short, this is a cream-of-the-crop rotisserie.
