Bar Oller

The terrace at this iconic bar on Passeig de Sant Joan is one of the sought-after, especially in spring. But if its terrace is a selling point, then so are the various dishes, combining tinned food, mussels, calamari, shellfish, octopus and other delicacies that Junior puts together, having learned everything he knows from Pep Oller, now retired.

The omelettes and croquettes are also gems, as well as the chicken combs (they’re huge!) filled with Gruyère, frankfurter, Mallorcan sausage, anchovies, Roquefort and, sometimes, escalivada (roasted aubergines, peppers, onions and tomatoes).
