If you're wondering why there's always a queue in front of the fishmongers of Santa Caterina market, it's thanks to this bar that does efficient grills and inspired stews. At breakfast you can have a nice plate of traditional 'capipota' (pork-based stew) or a delicious, crispy bacon sandwich. But it's at midday when it’s your turn to jostle with locals in order to find a table and enjoy a set lunch menu that's very reasonably priced given the quality of the food. Paella, cod, meat fricassee and home-made desserts are foolproof choices for everyday good eating.
