Time Out says

This Venetian tasca shows off Italian cuisine that goes beyond the binomial of pasta and pizza. Thanks to its Boqueria-adjacent location, Bacaro's ingredients are always fresh and selected with care. The sardines in 'saor' (a slightly sweeter variety of brine) are a delight, you can't go wrong with the cod 'mantecato' (creamed with butter), and the 'fregola' is a Sardinian semolina that's one of the oldest pastas in the history of cooking. Do yourself a favour and accompany your meal with a glass or two of Prosecco to round out the pleasure of a Venetian dining experience.
