OBC: The Lord of the Rings

The Barcelona Symphony and Catalonia National Orchestra (OBC) dedicates three programmes this season to music of the cinema. This first edition includes the projection of the first film in 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy, with music by Howard Shore performed live. Joining the OBC are soprano Clara Sanabras, and three choirs: the Infantil & Jove del Orfeó, and the Cor Jove dels Països Catalans. Shih-Hung Young is in charge of musical direction.
