With the new year comes a new edition of the Sant Antoni Reggae Splash, the veteran festival of Jamaican music that colours the neighbourhood of Sant Antoni with reggae and dancehall and also coincides with the neighbourhood's Festa Major. You'll find the Reggae Splash festival under the big tent on Av Mistral (at C/Calabria) from 9.30pm to 2am. This year for the first time in Barcelona, the festival brings in Jamaican artist Dawn Penn, known especially for her song 'You Do Not Love Me (No No No)', which was originally recorded in 1967 and re-recorded into the worldwide hit it became in 1994. Also featured on the bill are local reggae, dub and dancehall vocalist, writer and producer Ras Zohen, and the collectives Luv Messenger and Nyahbingi Sound.
