Víkingur Ólafsson

The music of Philip Grass features in Icelandic pianist Víkingur Ólafsson's recital, which you can see at the Petit Palau, the chamber music room in the Palau de la Música Catalana. The programme includes the masterpiece 'Opening', as well as a selection of piano pieces from the American composer, specifically numbers 9, 2, 3, 15, 13, 5 and 6. In other words, a fantastic opportunity to hear some beautiful piano music from one of the greats of minimalism.
