Time Out says

Víctor Correa returns to the Jamboree to show off his new line-up conceived in the Coahuila desert (Mexico), where he went to live more than a year ago now and where he has found ways of enriching his life and his art. In his new home, the trombonist and composer, born in Segovia, met musicians with orchestral training and decided to bring together the worlds of improvisation and classics “so as not to die of harmonic malnutrition”, as he puts it. With this approach, he has created various arrangements of jazz standards and a couple of original pieces inspired by his current location. He admits it is the album he has spent most time on and has put most of himself into.

Victor Correa trombone, composition, leader and arrangements, Víctor Pérez, Anna Arnal and Abdel Anzaldua violins, Chels Herrera cello.
