The Excitements are an R&B, rock and soul band that would have fit in really well in the 1960s, with their dirty and intense sound with a touch of James Brown, Ike & Tina Turner and Etta James. After more than two years on the road playing some 200 shows since the release of their explosive second album 'Sometimes Too Much Ain't Enough' (2013), they present their third record, 'Breaking the Rule' (2016). This latest effort is further proof that the band started by Adrià Gual and Daniel Segura has fans in the palm of its hand. Like a steamroller, the rhythm section is the powerful structure that supports the roaring guitars, and where Koko's voice and hypnotic movements reign.
