On July 2 it is exactly 50 years to the day since the mythical visit of The Beatles to Spain and to mark this anniversary, a big concert to pay homage to the Fab Four will be staged in the same place they performed in 1965: the Las Ventas bullring in Madrid starring British tribute band The Bootleg Beatles, along with their symphonic orchestra, together presenting their internationally renowned show. On July 3, 1965, the Liverpool quartet visited Barcelona, and while that second concert took place in the city's La Monumental bullring, this venue is now closed to such events. However, The Bootleg Beatles didn't want to miss the opportunity of giving a concert in Barcelona and adhering to the original itinerary, so on July 3, they'll take to the stage at the Sant Jordi Club. The support acts will be exactly the same as they were half a century ago - Los Pekenikes in Madrid and Los Sirex here in Barcelona.
