Sónar 2016: New Order + Fatboy Slim + Skepta + Mura Masa...

Sónar bids farewell to Barcelona for the 23rd time with a night-time programme that features big names such as pioneers New Order, who hadn't released a new studio album in a decade until their acclaimed 2015 effort, 'Music Complete', where they also got back some of their signature sounds including perfect melodies and the ageless voice of Bernard Sumner; the groove and electrofunk show of Fatboy Slim; the energetic performance of MC Skepta, star of London grime; young British producer Mura Masa; German artist Alex Ridha, better known as Boys Noize, with the worldwide debut of his new show at Sónar this year; a seven-hour DJ set from the legendary Laurent Garnier on the SonarCar stage; and the second performance of the festival by American artist Santigold.
