Sónar bids 'adéu' to its 21st edition with the world premiere of the new show from Massive Attack (10.30pm), which promises to go a step further in their particular audiovisual exploration of political propaganda and technological influence. Another of the highlights of the night will be the return of disco pioneers Chic (1.30am), who stopped by as well back in 2006, and their leader, Nile Rodgers, who hit it big again last year thanks to a collaboration with Daft Punk. The latest queen of Swedish pop, Lykke Li (11.15pm), will present her powerful new album, the epic 'I Never Learn'; we'll get to find out for ourselves why West London quartet Rudimental (2am) are enjoying meteoric success in Britain with their festive drum'n'bass; and we'll be there for what's sure to be a brilliant session with James Murphy (12:20am), former leader of LCD Soundsystem, musician, producer, DJ and owner of the DFA label.
