Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra

For years now this Dutch orchestra has been among the top in the world. So it's always good news when you get the chance to hear them live. This time Semyon Bychkov is conducting, and Jean-Yves Thibaudet is the guest solo pianist. The programme includes two works: Beethoven's 'Emperor Concerto' for piano and orchestra, and Strauss's 'Ein Heldenleben' ('A Hero's Life').
