Rootsound Fest: Charley Crockett & Band

Barcelona welcomes the first edition of Rootsound Fest, a concert series in the city's favourite rock concert hall, Rocksound. As its name implies, the series brings in renowned artists whose sound is all American roots, including Americana, alt country, American rock and country rock. Tonight it's one of the big attractions of the series with musician and composer Charley Crockett and his band. Originally from Texas, Crockett defines his music as a mix of Texas music, Louisiana music, traditional blues, country, Cajun, and Appalachian spirituals. He's back in Barcelona to present his new album, 'The Valley', scheduled for release a week after tonight's performance.
